I liked Days when it originally came out and I was in middle school. I had all the free time in the world back then.

When I watched Vinland Saga I was shocked to learn that Leif Erickson was in fact a real person. Im not very smart

Finished my playthrough last night. Overall I think I enjoyed it more than my first run when the game came out. I just remembered the game being a bit of a slog in some areas, but I didnt really feel that this time. I think the dlc emblems definitely increase the fun as they open up a ton of new strategy options.

As for the dlc units. meh. I only used Zelestia. The rest seemed underwhelming and the FX as a whole was just not good imo. The maps were not well designed and the story is ass.

With all that said, I think I still prefer Three Houses to this game, if were just talking switch FE games. While Engage probably has tighter gameplay and better map design for the most part, I enjoy 3Hs setting, story, and characters way more. I also really like the social sim stuff, but Im a Persona fanboy so that explains that.

I still had a lot of fun with this playthrough. Im sure Ill replay it again some day

Im the opposite. Im an extreme saver to the point of it being a mental block. Im the type of person that can have almost $5,000 in disposable income for the month and Ill agonize over making a $30 purchase and once I do it I wont make another purchase the rest of the month and then even the next month I wont make any purchases because I dont want to make extra purchases two mo this in a row. I once went 18 months, all of 2023 and half of 2024 and only spent $75 outside of required monthly bills.

This year I have been doing a little better and allowing myself to enjoy myself some. I have had multiple months including this month where I spent a couple hundred dollars collecting 4k movies. Its just really hard for me spend. I save like 80% of my monthly income. Ive never had lifestyle creep. The more I make the more I save. When I paid my vehicle off, my house off, I just saved more and more and never upped my spending.

So I do understand even though Im the total opposite how these tendencies can absolutely shape your actions. We need to blend out situations and meet in the middle.

Ill gladly trade you some of my impulsivity for some of your frugality

Its pretty bad. I just switched to day shift at work which came with a $2 pay reduction and Im struggling with the adjustment. Im on the spectrum and Ive read that people on the spectrum tend to be very bad with money due to having the impulse control of a child. Sounds like me alright. I see something I want and I just have to have it right then, consequences be damned.

Im trying to be better, and since getting with my gf shes helped me learn to manage a little bit better, but its still a struggle

Im doing a replay of Engage right now and I agree Rosado is great.

My point was Forrest was more even if a character acts outside of gender norms it doesnt automatically make them trans. If people wanna headcanon him as trans thats totally cool though as long as they arent attacking the creators. I do kinda get your point about Forrests character archetype being kinda played out though

He looks like a girl, dresses like a girl, and has overly feminine interests, and yet he still identifies as male which is totally ok. He doesnt have to be trans. If he was that would be cool too, but hes not so its a moot point.
