Why are so many people convinced Trump is going to eliminate term limits? He doesn't really care all that much about the actual job of being president, just the attention and the immunity from prosecution. He doesn't need to be president for life to have either of those things at this point.

Probably not. Their base doesn't want that, it's not costing them enough support to give Democrats full control of the government, and there's no real way for the party to force a change anyway.

That would (thankfully) require 2/3rds of the house and senate, and 38 states to ratify.

Technically they could create new red states to get the Senate and legislature numbers they'd need. The House would be tougher to rig, but they could always just reduce the number of members so that each state gets exactly one representative.

But really, it'd be much easier to just declare a dictatorship instead.

I don't think voters care as much about any specific right-wing issues as they do about just being able to say they're on Team Conservative. Of course I have no real hard evidence indicating this.

It's not about being on Team Conservative, it's about being on Team Normal. People see Democrats as the party for weirdos and evil elites, while the Republicans are the party of everyday Americans. It's tough to convince voters otherwise, even with the GOP getting crazier every cycle.

She should've pressed them on all the Republicans who support her. Any time he mentions biased polls or critics, she should have a list of high-end conservative supporters and ask why they support her over Trump.

Aren't all the pro-Harris conservatives either people who were out of politics before Trump was elected or who have been forced out of the GOP since then? As far as Fox News viewers are concerned, those aren't real conservatives worth caring about or listening to.
