Was never too much of a fan of 2D Sonic

Most levels are "hold right, jump when you hit a wall, repeat"
Bosses are fine but the levels are mediocre
And they also try to make them bigger with multiple paths but because there is nothing to collect I never saw the reason to explore

Generations is the only game that did it right

It's a good concept and Niantic is making decent job at keeping it alive 8 years later...
But still, super flawed.

Bug thats exist for years do not get fixed, but bugs that are benefical to the player get fixed in a heartbeat (well besides quick catch, but it's more like a feature at this point)

And as a free to play player that plays solo, it's clear that I am not Niantic target audience.
Despite me playing almost every day for all those 8 years, I have yet to-
-Get Salazzle
-Get Keldeo (was available as part of a paid special research, two years ago, and was never released for free players so far)
-Get plenty of strong Shadow Pokemon, as shadow raids can't be remote raided
-Get a single Gigantamax Pokemon, as it required something like 20 trainers playing locally
-Get a family of 3 Maushold
-Get Charcadet and it's evolutions
-Get Enamorus, as it was only in Elite Raids which again requires you to have plenty of local players playing
-Get Perfect Zygarde, as the route feature that was implemnted 15 months ago never saw a dediciated event to it with increased odds so I barely bother with it
-Finish the party special research, as the party feature was released and forgotten
-Get that Pikachu that requires you winning 100 showcases, wtf
And some others I guess I forgot

The game is so grindy, so full of RNG, it's really a pain at some point.
I am also somewhat glad that they made Gigantamax so damn impossible to get so I am not even concerned about not getting them - I just accepted that I will never 100% this game and it's fine

The characters suck, the story is a mess...and the gameplay...well...it's one the worst I have ever played.

People will tell you that you need to "git gud". That you don't have to draw magic from monsters (or whatever that was). That enemies scaling with you is not a big deal. That the game can be easily broken if you know what you are doing.
Fuck that.
I don't want to break the game, I don't want to look up guides. I want to play it normally and enjoy my progression.
There is no fun if leveling means nothing. IIRC there was also a way to level up my weapons but they required items I have no idea how the hell am I supposed to get.
So I just stopped playing it because every fight was a chore.

I also don't care about card games so I don't care how good Triple Triad is. And if's important to the game completion it's also minus points in my eyes

I only cared for Mega Man and watched it.
That was...a thing.

Like, it was ok, but...pointless. It's like a teaser for something that will never happen.
Like a tech demo that leaves you with "ok, now what?"

Little Samson is one of the most underrated games of all time and I am glad he ranked it so high

Quite possibly the most overrated video game ever made. The one and only bright spot are the two bosses that fly, and of those only the bird is somewhat well designed despite the game's trashy mechanics. I can't give it points for the music because you so rarely get to hear any.

And then I played it and it was just...ok?

I have yet to play a single game that I would say that I enjoyed the fishing aspect of it

I will forever remember how I 99.9%ed Far Cry 5 but only missed one mission because it was a very tough fishing mission and I said fuck it

And the IMDB score is pretty decent too

Consdiering Pokemon is my favorite franchise and I have a complete living dex and pretty much catch them all in every single game

I just can't. Currently at 855/1025 and I am having hard time remembering names.
Like, if I read the Pokemon name I can tell which Pokemon it is, but trying to name the Pokemon itself is pretty hard for me at this point
1 Gen 5 Pokemon (the fuck is your name, Crustle pre-evo)
4 Gen 6 Pokemon (That counterpart to Spritzee and it's evo, Amaura evolution, that drugged Horsea)
9 Gen 7 Pokemon

And a lot of Galar and Paldea Pokemon
Especially Paradox Pokemon that you would expect that would be easy to remember as they have easy names, and the future Pokemon have one word that is always the same
But nope somehow I can't remember almost any of them

Got 400 before decided to turn on shadows
So far completed first 4 gen and in total got 700 but now I feel like my brain is fried and even Pokemon that I should have no problem naming I have a blackout so I will take a break

Hardest for me from the early gens was Mudkip evolution that I keep thinking it was named "Marshadow" until I remembered it was somewhat close
Also my brain was so fried even at that point that I tried to name "Hariyama" as "Hiroshima"
