I let her die without a second thought, but I'd still rather have either choice be in play. Maybe the alternate universes will handle it, but that was really not what the preview was indicating and it'd be weird for Max to just not notice.

I expected a lot worse tbh. This wasn't that bad. Looks kind of like a Suikoden game, but way way darker, and less about war. And super violent. But other than that, okay I guess.

Just wanted to be safe. Most the really bad stuff probably doesn't happen in a quick glance anyway.

There will always be a path to self destruction. That will always hurt people that care. The law will never change that.

I'll give you an actual coherent response now.

Equating personal choices, vices or otherwise, to acts of violent crime as equal in psychology is in insanely flawed line of thinking that has lead and continues to lead to a lot of problems.

While the cynic could qualify gun ownership as a simple personal choice, it is in its best iteration not an actual lifestyle for anything but hunting and collecting. Hunting grade weapons aren't used in the worst crimes, and even if collectors kept an illegal collection they'd damn well do a better job of keeping it away from others.

So it's a terrible comparison.

It goes on sale for 80% off pretty regularly on Steam, at minimum every seasonal sale. When the sequel got announced it was actually 80% off on everything, so that'll possibly happen again sometime between now and it coming out, which is supposedly this year despite no actual release date yet.

I just finished all the Gears and Gambit missions on Hard. Funnily enough it's a lot easier if you play the game on Easy difficulty. I just copied a build from a Youtube video and one shot everything.

They added a slider for that at some point so you don't actually have to change game difficulty.

The key to G&G Hard mode is realizing that anything besides attacking is a waste of time. Like you think you need to be healing on one's where you have limited units, but nah.

It has a over the lifebar when they can't be damaged. The transitions can happen before that point, I think. It's less likely to waste damage if you're not seeing that than you think.

My observed experience is that new players may like Remake early on but they check the fuck out eventually.

Perfect blocking alone makes Rebirth more fun than Remake on the combat front.
