One of them suddenly laying an egg one day confirmed that at least for that one.

To be honest, I have always liked all the other vs marvel games ever so slightly more for 2 reasons.....the soundtracks is definitely better than marvel vs capcom 2's stuff, and having 6 buttons is better for certain character's moves since the 4 buttons in marvel vs capcom 2 kind of screwed them over.The other Marvel games also had better aesthetics when it comes to the environments and UI features, whereas MvC2 sort of comes across as an asset flip in those regards. Mario & Luigi isn't dead, despite Alphadream going bankrupt. But maybe Nintendo hired most of them in. I also was surprised to see that they're still supporting Switch Sports. That game was kind of a trainwreck. Donkey Country Country Returns remake... Glad to have both Returns games on Switch, but I'll stick with the 3DS version I have. Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D finally had a date; I may check this one. The Legend of Zelda: Featuring Zelda. I kind of wish it had an artstyle similar to BotW, but I guess that's not what the top-down games do. Horizon on Switch is cursed, even if it's just a LEGO version of it. MvC Collection may be hope that a proper MvC4 is not completely off the table. If they add a Vs. Com mode to these games, then I may check it out. I thought Stray was already on the Switch. Final announcement: Metroid Prime 4, at last; all the games announced in the 2017 E3 showcase are all accounted for. And as we all knew, Sylux has a heavy role in it. But with a first-party 2025 release, I agree with others that this is likely a cross-gen release. | Solar_Crimson 06/16/24 2:58:16 PM #10 | Because Nintendo went all in on pursuing the casual market that Wii Sports got them, to the point where NoA even refused to localized several games that they felt did not have a market in the US, despite those same games being released in PAL regions (the sequels to Trace Memory and Hotel Dusk, as well as the VERY American Disaster: Day of Crisis), and almost also completely blocked the release of the Operation Rainfall trio until third parties stepped up to bring them over. (This came back to bite them when Xenoblade ended up being a hit.)
Their 2008 E3 conference summed up where their mind was during that time. It was just a bunch of casual games--including the reveals of Animal Crossing: City Folk and Wii Sports Resorts--culminating in their final reveal being...
