I listened to all of it earlier and it was damn good. Gucci Gucci I listened at least 5 times.

And I don't even listen to this kind of music... Great job!

Haha thats awesome. Glad to see someone who isn't a fan of the genre is digging this. Tell a friend or two about! lol, thanks for checking it out

i like how professional the breakdowns were in terms of judging

Ya. These dudes don't mess around. Very professional, adds a lot to the whole vibe of these battles when you know people are going to actually evaluate and analyze your bars.

Nah dude it's like that everywhere. R/HH isn't alone on that sentiment. This board has a ton of people like that as well but I also feel like you're more apt to find chilled out people on this board. I dunno, I've been here for years and still love it.

Anyway, your music is nice, like BBall said you stay true to the beats. I can't believe you really made a song called 'Swaggin Ball Z' hahaha that had me laughing. I think the big thing for me with a lot of mixtapes is that the sound quality just doesn't come out sounding professional but I can't say that about yours at all. Everything is presented really well. I wish you the best of luck because there are few things harder to 'make it' as in this country than a rap artist, especially if you're white.

I feel like it might be heightened over there because it's a hiphop board and from that fact alone everyone feels like they must present some "I really know hiphop".

But thanks for checking out the music. It means a lot to me when people enjoy it. I just got a job straight out of college so I'm blessed enough to have stability as I pursue my music on the side, so you'll be hearing plenty more music from me.

If you're interested in keeping up with the sound and projects I have going on(I put out a lot of throw away tracks that don't make my mixtapes) you should check out this page

hahaha how did you end up posting this stuff on b8 hahah.

Listening now, will give some feedback. I love the album cover by the way. That's cool, especially for the theme of the album anyway.

Ya, BBallman posted in the RHH board which led me to here. Seeing that there were people trying to start a rap league I figured I may find some producers and hiphop fans to share my music with. RHH is has a lot of people with way too self-righteous opinions and a few people that, unfortunately, set the entire tone of the conversation over there so I'm always looking for other places that may be into hiphop lol. Go read some opinions and notice how many people are just plain haters on that board or don't have exposure to real-life situations where music is played and you'll have a laugh.

I give it to Bballman, because when I read it I could actually make a flow that was steady. While reading frostbytes I couldn't read it with a steady flow. Then again, I have no context for how he wrote it and how to spit it, so it's not really a good judgement. You guys should both record these and see how they sound.

you should really chill on pushing your opinion on what you think people should or shouldn't do, repetition isn't a magical spell that will make people regard your opinion differently, maybe we find more entertainment/enjoyment in writing/reading creative lyrics and punchlines or messing with rhyme schemes in a loose manner or writing in a way that could be flowed in multiple ways, maybe we just prefer writing, you're like the guy who b****es the whole time during an activity because it isn't being done the way you want to do it

your lyrics are still terrible, and you're still racist bro

u butthurt?

It's 70 or so episodes, but easily one of the greatest stories I have ever experienced. It's an anime called, "Monster". Its very grounded in reality (no magic or trolls and stuff), but despite the lack of fantasy manages to make, in my opinion, one of the pure incarnations of evil a villain has ever embodied. You will not be disapointed.

also, you may have seen it already, but Death Note is very good too.

If you're looking for something thats plenty of action, comedy, and an amazing soundtrack Samurai Champloo is good too. It's not too story heavy, but there is continuity and progression of storyline/character development, though it is more episodic.

I listened to the first few songs. Love the beats and how you stay true to them throughout the whole song, easy to understand and great content, it could get a little more complex but that's just a small critique. But I could definitely see myself listening to you, I'll listen to rest when I get some more free time later.

Awesome. Glad to see you're enjoying. There's a variety to the sound, themes, and styles of the songs throughout, so if you're looking for complex stuff duke it out to the end. The last leg of the tape has a mini-story (at least I intended it to be lol) throughout them the stuff over 9th wonder beats that you may enjoy. Let me know what you think if you ever get time to check out the rest.

This is a contest board, so I'll make a contest. Contest is whoever can make the best original beat or sample something into a beat I will include on my next mixtape.

I have a full project out, which you can check out to understand where I'm at lyrically and technique/style wise. It's a 20-track, free downloadable/streamable mixtape.

http://p64music.bandcamp.com/album/first-take-there-is-no-reason-to-be-upset

I'm trying to drop my next project around late August. Hopefully some nice beat-makers see this and want to get involved... also, even if you aren't a producer, check out the mixtape and let me know what you think.

I'll battle anyone and can do it at anytime. I'd encourage people to step up and record their verse instead of just typing it. There's no good way to judge a "keystyle" since there is no context of flow and everyone who reads it will recite it differently most likely. This is more of a contest of who can write the best punchlines and insults that have words that rhyme at the end, but without the context of flow to make whats actually in the bar matter.

If you really think you can write or battle, you'll record your verse.
