However, I'm really put off by the people who like him more than Phoenix. Edgeworth might be smarter and more "developed", but he's also a huge stick-in-the-mud square. Not as much fun. He has his moments, but he's too much of a "straight man".

what are some good comic cartoons? I'm trying to get ny three year old nephew to watch things that aren't Cailou, Toopy & Binoo, and other annoying kids shows. I have Batman TAS, TMNT and X-Men on DVD, but what else is out there? I remember watching a few Teen Titans episodes in high school, and I followed the 90s Spider-Man cartoon, but that's pretty much it.

He loves Batman and TMNT, but we haven't started on X-Men yet. I'd just like some other options! Maybe I'm missing something cool.

I wouldn't say the X-Men proper have been grimdark though... Fraction's run was terrible, but part of the reason it was terrible was that it was trying (and failing) to be funny.

as someone who has just recently lost a family member after a prolonged hospital stay I don't think any of it is funny. he is stupid for not just having the surgery to begin with though, although who's to say that it would've cured him. often surgery removes the tumor only to have it come back later.

ff13's final boss is easy compared to the guy right before the final boss.

I think his vocal tendencies began to get predictable on Tomboy. He sounded like someone doing a Panda Bear impression.

Panda Bear's album is really good, but it's also pretty straightforward. Probably much of the audience expected a Person Pitch Part Two. I know I would've preferred a bit more experimentation, but Tomboy is good nonetheless. Definitely in my Top 10 (where Radiohead is not).

FFX is what I use as my example of an "average" jrpg.

First off, I'm not a huge Radiohead fan, but I of course love The Bends - Amnesiac, and to a lesser extent HTTT and In Rainbows. That being said, I found this album quite boring. Not bad by any means, just kinda there.

There is no way Wind-Up Bird isn't his best book and yes I've read them all

Basically switch Kafka and Wind-Up and it would be a fine ranking

Things that are better in P3 than P4:
- Hotter girls
- Better non-battle music

I had one of the new Wendy's burgers, it was good. To be honest, I don't know if it was different because I hadn't eaten a burger from Wendy's in over 3 years (mostly just get the Spicy Chicken). The new fries were terrible, some of the worst fries I've ever had.

Burger King is bottom of the barrel stuff, better than White Castle but worse than McDonald's.

"the community at large" definitely does not think Angles is better than anything.

If you want more music like the Strokes you can check out Phoenix, and the first Libertines record.

P4 is better than P3 in most respects but it's still really anime so.... I'm gonna recommend it to you anyway because it's great.

Really? First Impressions is your favorite? It has a few good tracks, but the second half is really bad, imo.

In an issue of Venom (#6 maybe?) and it's Captain America. It was also stated clearly in the latest ASM issue. My theory on the new Scarlet Spider is that it's Kaine (who was recently healed from being a mutated spider).

ok i've officially listened to this 15 minute extended version of the new objection 2001 remix twice in a row. that's 30 minutes of a song I've heard hundreds of times already. SO GOOD.
