To be fair I don't get tattoos for hobbies or just because a picture looks cool

I like Samus but if I'd gotten her tattooed onto my arm five years ago the arrival of Other M would make me hate it. And I used to be really into poker, but I'm lucky that sixteen year old me didn't get the 'all four suits' tattoo that he wanted because I never play these days.

But the tattoo I currently have, I thought about for a good three years leading up to actually getting it, and it has personal relevance to me on just about every level. It's not flashy or colorful, it looks fairly boring to be honest, but like I said, I didn't get it for other people to fawn over.

Call me crazy but I'd be scratching my head if I had to simplify my whole life to a single picture

I'm not going to go into detail on the tattoo itself, because despite the low odds I don't want any of you immediately knowing that it's me if we cross paths in real life. But yes, it still does so now. Granted it's only been a year and a half but I'm just as happy with it now as I was the day I got it.

You mean the disdain line? I was just acknowledging that my attitude in this topic can be taken as disdainful of alphas if anything, rather than frightened. I also said that this isn't really true, but at least with that I could see where you were coming from. I'm still confused on how I seem scared. I'm pathetic, sure, but I'm not frightened.

I've been living on 10k a year in a the cheapest place I can find while eating cheap stuff by choice for the past few years and dumping everything else into my savings account. I had 20k student in student loans the day after I graduated and I just walked to the bank, paid it off, and I'm still not worried about finding a real job any time soon.
