thats basically how I feel. I've slowly been gaining more interest in the game, especially since they added it to summer of arcade, but I still hadn't seen a video where the gameplay was shown off so much, now that I see it, I'm very impressed.

this gen, WRPGs have been awesome. also we see more and more rpg elements popping up in various genres, so you can enjoy a lot of what makes RPGs good in other games.

I don't think there was tons of inoovation in the PS1 JRPG era, you had the occasional game that did a really good job mixing it up, like Grandia, but for the most part I can't get through most JRPGs because of how similarly they all play out.

Dead Block is a kind of interesting tower defense/exploration mix, but I find it kind of boring.

MLB BOBBLEHEADS is actually kind of fun for a little $10 baseball game, but I'm not sure if theres a season mode at all, also I suck at these games so not for me!

Deadliest Warrior 2 seemed cool, but it's not my thing.

Don't you think it's just a little dumb that it decides a CR winner 2 minutes in? How is that fun? just see it through to the end.

I think it just causes a lot of urgency. The problem with most online games are that close games are rare, but in team objective, every game is generally kind of close at least. The only real problem is being able to spawn on your buddy, which is lame.

It can kind of be a mess without a group, but the same could be said of all objective based multiplayer games!

so question.

with one of my controllers (my newer one), occasionally my hero just keeps going left, and thats all I can do. It's really weird. The only way to fix it is to restart the game.

luckily this doesn't seem to happen with my older controller, but it sucks because its d-pad isn't quite as responsive as my newer one.
