do those platforms that skyrocket up come back down?

and are spikes one hit kill like in megaman or does difficulty affect that?




They stay up unless they go far enough off screen to reset. And spikes will be one hit kill except on the easiest setting.

And it looks like you really improved the visual elements so you can tell what is a platform or what is background and such. It's not perfect and it's still kind of confusing with a lot of stuff going on, but it's definitely a lot better than when you first started.

Yeah, that was the main purpose of adding in the fog. Definitely helps make the background a bit less distracting. Thinking of moving all of the clouds behind the fog barrier as well.

Spent a bit of time today just roughing out story ideas to my next game (yay getting way ahead of myself) and HOLY **** I cannot wait to start on it. It's a very strange series of WHAAAAAT that just keeps going.

I'd say around 70%-80%.
The hard parts are pretty much done (Drawing everything, coding the engine, physics+collision detection) and just need to concentrate on some new enemies and level design now.

Nah, just the size of the audience I could get from both.
Also a $10 game on Steam can sell perfectly well but on Indie Arcade the same game for the same price would probably hardly sell at all.

My main focus is Steam right now, then depending on how it does on there I may target XBLA after that.
