I thought these were movies about street racing and the culture. This movie is basically Die Hard meets Lupin the 3rd. It was ridiculous. I had fun with it but I wanted to see fast cars, not giant hangs shooting each other up with machineguns.

One of the crazy new things that Xbox had was this new-fangled downloading. It was the first system to have it. It promised that console gamers could get the same updates that PC gamers do for the first time ever. Beyond patches, some games would even get new things like characters or levels!

Then a year later, they realized they could charge for it and it all went downhill. Now every little stupid thing has a price tag on it. Shooters ship with like 4 multiplayer maps because they want you to buy the rest of them. It's so lame. I am really sick of it.

Hawkman is awesome.

Did any of you read Monocyte? I got it on the recommendation that it's full of really freaky paintings that would keep me up at night, perfect for Halloween. I didn't get much out of it though. Really similar reaction to reading The Flash. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Just was like... meh. The art is quite gorgeous though.

One more thing... I finally read Blue Beetle. How can people stand this thing? I mean, really, how can you stand it? I hate every character, good or bad. It's not a bad comic like Legion Lost and OMAC are, it's just written in a way that makes me want to throw my monitor with each passing page. Just write them talking like normal f***ing people. If they wrote Static Shock, Batwing, or Mr T with this kind of dialect, everyone would be screaming that it's racist.
