luck is unnecessary in competitive multiplayer games.

Multiplayer games are about making better decisions than your opponents. If you make a better decision than your opponent, but they are rewarded more than you are because of a random element, that defeats the entire purpose of playing the game.

Chess is a game that is wholly solved, but that many people still play and enjoy. Go is a game that has so many possible decisions that it is not wholly solved, even though it is solvable.

The state of a game of LoL changes moment to moment, based on your decisions and the decisions of the other nine players. I would argue that a group of five humans trying to outsmart another group of five humans produces something far more interesting than a random game state, while still providing you decisions that are both ambiguous and meaningful.

I play support soraka with flat AD marks

she deals a stupid amount of damage at level 1. You put your opponents back and they never, ever catch up because you're soraka.

I think she's broken. I do far too well with her. I don't think I've lost bot lane yet. My favorite AD to support is caitlyn. You run in to attack, they attack you, and it lines them up perfectly for peacemaker. Every. Time.

Really frustrating night of Dominion games. Down 21 elos. The last match ended with the enemy nexus at 1 hp. Kept getting really enormous elo spreads. One of the matches had a difference of 1000 between highest player and lowest. Ah well.

Mundo is the most braindead champion this side of Singed.

It's funny you should say that. I can't play singed either. A majority of people I've played singed with have asked me to never play singed.

Well, I tried jungling mundo. I think I'm worse with mundo than any other champion I've ever tried. I think I could lose any game if I were mundo.

So, I'm not going to play him again. What I am curious about is how other people are effective with him. The clear time for camps was great, but my health was always low in the jungle, I would gank at full health but get burst down in a matter of seconds in every lane I tried to gank, I was useless in teamfights because even other melee champs could kite me. It was among the worst times I ever had playing league.

But I see other people dominate with him. I've seen people use mundo to gank, and deal infinite amounts of damage. I've watched this on streams and in tournaments. I've fought against Mundo's that are unkillable as long as at least one other member of their team is alive. I don't know how they do it.

tbh I know how that feels.

You waste all your time trying to gank lanes, but no one ever dies, so it never pays off, and you end up behind the support in gold and levels.

Then you think to yourself, "I should have just kept farming the jungle."

Except you can't, because all your laners that are losing their lanes need help, and all the ones that are doing well want you to camp their lanes.

It's incredibly frustrating. god I hate jungling.

Well, if a movie is perfect because it achieved it's own goals, and could not have achieved them better, then I think a lot of movies that aimed really low would qualify.

I feel like he could be played as a support, with the right AD.

Just stack your dot on people and run away. You have a depositioner, which could set people up for Vayne to stun. You could stack dots with trist. Ashe could let you run in and run away easily.

And he gets a ton of innate armor pen, and true damage, so he wouldn't do too badly without farm. He'd be the only support who could buy avarice blade for real. Shurelia's and youmuu's would be hilarious to watch, as a bonus.

The biggest problem would be his complete lack of defense, but maybe 21 def would work?

There's a lot of value in things, but most of it is inaccessible, and can't be easily converted to currency.

For instance, the statistical value of a siingle human life that they have on wikipedia currently is seven million dollars.

so, the value of every human is about 1x10^15 dollars, but the only way to access that value is for the people to work their whole lives producing things.
