The song contained in the URL of the number you chose starts playing every time you start talking to the opposite(or same, depending on what you're attracted to) sex. How satisfied/dissatisfied are you?
How do you feel about the Texas voting ballot having the Chilean flag on it for 40 years? You guys are supposed to be really proud of Texas and all that, right? How can you not notice something like that for 40 years?!
I'm watching TV, and a commercial about Bayer pain reliever comes on. It's about a white guy on a plane and a KOREAN stewardess comes up to him and asks in KOREAN if he needs anything. Well, according to the subtitles, she's speaking Japanese.
One of the possible essay question for my upcoming midterm is "Discuss the benefits and problems Cultural Relativism and Ethnocentrism, be complete"
Here's the definition for Cultural Relativism: "The idea that one must suspend judgement of other people's practices in order to understand them in their own cultural terms"
Which basically means being open about their cultures. I can see pros in that regard, but cons? I really can't see any, but then again, I've been really about being open minded about everything since I started doing the green tobacco a long time ago.(I quit now though)
Ethnocentrism basically means being overly patriotic, and thinking that your own culture is better than anything else out there, and I can see some pros and cons about that, so no real help needed there.
anyone know of any good anime out there to watch, i don't really like the mecha or whatever its called kind haha ^-^ and preferably one with at least a little romance. the romance ones are my favorite, but i do enjoy the action ones as well :) OH!! and with a SATISFYING ending! :)
I recommended her Inuyasha, but she saw it already apparently.
My first Anthro exam is coming up, and one of the possible essay question is: "Describe the steps for the scientific method, be complete".
So do you think the professor wants a full blown essay with an intro, body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph? It kinda seems hard to make a full blown essay out of that. Especially if I have to open and conclude such a weird idea like that.
Since Saiyans get way stronger whenever they're injured to near death then brought back, why didn't they just keep injuring each other then have Dende or somebody heal them back to full again instead of training for the Cell Games?
Is there a limit on how powerful you'll get just by that method or something?
She owns this house, and is obsessed about the doors closing before opening another one. Also, something about the piano never being played. She also has 3 people that take care of the house, an old dude, an old dudette, and a mute chick.
I HATE people that will only play one type of champ. Especially if someone else already picked an AP carry or a tanky DPS/metagolem(seriously, where the hell did this come from?)/bruiser, etc... Ones that piss me off even more are people that will play jungle champs but don't jungle when the team needs a jungler.
Well, my GS rewards card is going to expire soon, and I'm not planning on extending it.
Well, all my points will be lost once it expires, and I already got a shirt and all that. I only have enough points to buy a DLC thing for 1000 training points for the MLB 11 the Show, which is useless to me.
So if anyone plays it, let me know, and I'll get the points and give it to you.
I was going to finish it whenever I felt like, but apparently my friend is going to get me FFXIII-2 for a super late Bday present(he's been broke for months, but he finally got a job like a month ago).
Well, the last thing I did was beat Cid Raines, so about how much more is left?
A) Finish Parasite Eve-I don't quite remember where I'm at, I believe I'm either at the zoo or a little bit after it.
B) Finally get through Xenogears-Because of memory card getting corrupted and all that, I never really got that far in this game. I'd have to restart from the beginning, but I haven't played this game in forever anyways, so that's optimal.
C) Finish FFXIII *spoilers*
I FINALLY beat Cid Raines, but I haven't played it since, getting stuck at Cid Rained for months kinda made me not want to play it anymore, lol.
*end spoilers
D) Go through ME and ME2 again with a Renegade femshep. I best ME and ME2 with a male full Paragon Shepherd, so I'm kinda interested in seeing the other side of ME and ME2.
I have exactly 560 MS points right now, so I could get any of the mission add-on packs aside from the Lair of the Shadow Broker. Which one is the best? I heard Kasumi one was pretty good, so should I get that one?
I-Exaggerating the findings of a study or only emphasize certain aspects of the study while overlooking others. II- Minimizing the details of the study and oversimplifying the results. III-Using an "expert" who is not only not an expert on the topic, but also biased.
Recently, the media widely reported findings that prayer causes the speedy recovery of hospital patients. To make such a claim, what type of research design would need to be utilized?
It's definitely not Naturalistic Observation, so I won't even mention that.
Case Study Design -Studying one person or a small number of people for an extended period of time. -Common with rare types of brain damage or mental illness. -Helpful in providing existence proofs, but can be misleading or anecdotal.
Correlational Design -Examine how 2 variables are related -Correlation vary from -1 to +1 and can be: 1)Positive(as one increases, so does the other) 2)Negative 3)Zero
I'm pretty sure it's Case Study Design, but I can kinda see how Correlational Design could work, like finding correlation between the people that were prayed on and the people that got better quickly. Although, I think that would fall under "illusory Correlation".
Isn't this that one movie where the dude dies in the house and the main characters have to pretend that he's alive? I believe in one scene, his ex or something like that comes and has sex with the dead body.
I saw the movie on TV couple years ago, but didn't get the title.
