I wouldn't mind being able to be a rocket or whatever the next group is called or being able to become a gym leader.

The whole game: Sit there alone in your gym, not moving, and once every couple weeks a random weak trainer comes to challenge you.

I know how to spell pokemon too. But it still made me think of it! And apparently it made you think of it too.

Not until after I read the topic, since I did have a thought about an actual cloister (the Inner Cloister in Act 1, specifically).

If he had said something about dugongs, then I probably would have thought of Dewgong, since dugongs aren't really notable by themselves.

eh, just two matches of not-that-big-underdogs isn't amazing. i think a perfect so far is pretty impressive, even if it's been more predictable than other contests, but "amazing" should be reserved for filling out 139 identical brackets.

Why is that amazing? If you did it once, you can repeat it on the rest of your accounts.

Amazing would be filling out brackets with alternate results on every debated match so you're guaranteed to win with 1 of them.

I use the exact settings described in the first post (except for the "classic format" I use Ricapar's version because I find it more accurate than the Retroclassic one on the site).

I found it on Youtube. I guess it doesn't sound that much different than the original, but it's still not as good. I liked the City Escape remix equally as much as the original.

Wtf, I played a Waluigi hack in 2009. I can't tell if this is a mod of that one or a completely new version, but it's equally as bad.

We do have the technology to make fully playable characters at this point, but we don't have any people with the skills to make one. The only people who attempt to make new characters end up doing things like this.

I quite like the contest, personally. I'm thinking voters will probably take the rivalry aspect as least somewhat seriously, so characters who would normally be mid-tier will vault ahead because their RIVALRY is notable. Red v. Blue from Pokemon is the best possible case of this; Fox and Wolf is another.

This is the exact opposite of what I'm expecting to happen; I think people are just gonna vote for any group of characters that they like, just like in a normal character battle. Red vs. Blue might be the only major exception (and only because of Board 8's support).
