The Star ocean 3 twist does not really functionally change anything about the first and second games imo. I get not liking it as a knee jerk thing but honestly it ultimately just made things more interesting to me.

Its just simulation theory stuff pretty much, and when you get down to it not much different than the concept of gods toying with the mortals they create. Feels very Star Trek-y

Honestly Joe Biden and his campaign team (a lot of which carried over to Kamala) should be who people are casting stones at on the democrat side of things the hardest. Not only did he remove the chance of a primary and make the process of trying to sell a super-unpopular candidate even harder, he made liberal officials and media outlets look like complete idiots for ages trying to assure everyone that the only savior of American democracy possible was a guy who looked like a sundowning mummy every time they put him on camera

For me, soundtrack is one of the areas where DKC3 is clearly weaker than the others. It's enough of a tonal shift that you can clearly tell it wasn't composed by the same person as the other two (and it wasn't)

I feel like it's only weak in comparison to DKC1 and 2 having some of the best video game music of the era period. DKC3 still has some great stuff on there.

The shadow levels are definitely better to the point that they make the original gens levels feel kind of clumsy by comparison. The 2d segments especially, they control a hundred times better than sonic

Moonraker is a pretty bad movie but funny and dumb enough to make it very watchable. The first time I saw the scene where the bad guys and the military have a laser gun fight in space and its just them lining up side by side and shooting like they're in the revolutionary war and it keeps cutting to them exploding and shrieking i laughed so hard i cried

AI writing as it is right now needs like, insane jumps and leaps to get on the level of writing anything that requires any sort of thoughtfulness beyond ad reads and clickbait news articles.

I tend to prefer ghost hunter shows because even if I also don't believe in that, they have a tendency to be way funnier. bigfoot shows are by comparison usually super boring. The exception being that clearly meant to be funny one with the group of huge fat guys I can't remember the name of at the moment

Apollo Justice is underrated and overhated. I think a lot of people felt the same as you about the plot shift and it has some lingering bitchiness surrounding it, but imo it's got some fun stories in it. AA1 and 3 are superior but its better than 2 for sure.

Dual Destinies... I played it but never finished it. I dunno, I really wasn't feeling it by the time I hit the case in the space center. It's a really nice looking game, but everything outside of that just kind of felt off about it. Particularly Phoenix being there and pretty much just being his AA1-3 self again despite everything that happened previously.

it was the first pokemon game i played in years. i thought all the characters were flat and annoying and the towns weren't much better than linear hallways. thought the open area stuff was pretty lame too. quit halfway
