From what I understand, this is a thing because multiple takes are filmed and the editor's probably going to be using shots from different takes so for continuity it'd be hard to keep track of how full each actor's plate was supposed to be at what point in the scene if they were eating normally. Plus that would be a lot of food the actors would have to eat over multiple takes.
It's a stylistic choice and it's great.

Hawk doesnt have the exact same sound as fork, but its definitely closer sounding to fork than it is to rock.

I had a brilliant idea when I was refreshing my Lego shelves that when I disassemble a big set, to do so in reverse instruction order and make new numbered Ziploc bags so that when I reassemble it in the future, itll go smoothly.
