You don't necessarily get 3 Friday's off in a month, it depends on how the dates line up in a month. Like in a month with only 4 Fridays you'll work two and be off two.I do mine so it's 9,9,9,9,9
Basically week 1 you work "9, 9, 9 ,9, 8" for a total of 44 hours. Then week 2 you work "9, 9, 9, 9, off" for a total of 36 hours. So it still works out to the same 80 hours every 2-week paycheck, but you're only working 9 shifts instead of 10.
I have a buddy with this schedule and he absolutely loves it.
i work 9/80s. We work 9 hours a day, but 8 hours on Friday, and get every other friday off as a result. Its probably my favorite system ive ever worked under.We call that 5-4-9 where I'm at, and it's what im on. We also rigged the schedule so that most of our off Fridays fall during a holiday weekend, giving us a free four day vacation.
