Launching with Pokmon would be a dumb idea, since Game Freak's incompetence is going to end up with a game that looks and runs like garbage, which will make the Switch 2 look bad right from the start.

I don't know how you can put Venus on here. Her only chance is a surprise final 2 where she can go against Q, and I'm not even sure she wins that. Her best final 3 is with Liz and Q, and I expect Liz to get at least 7 votes there, if not a sweep.

I'm not sure there even are that many good, level headed players this season, and the only one that the chaos really seemed to screw over was Tiff. Charlie and Maria are the only other ones I'd say fit that (Kenzie dropped out for her dumb idea of turning on Tiff last night), and the chaos hasn't really hurt them at all.

Yeah, you're right, I overlooked both FF7 remakes. But I think FF7 Remake and Rebirth being remakes means they don't help the perception of "Final Fantasy is back" like a mainline title being great would. They're more like a blip like Sonic Mania was for Sonic.

Honestly, it makes sense that FF sales aren't that great anymore since the only (supposed) great game that's been released since FFX is XIV, and that's an MMO with high barriers to entry. I guess not every series can be like Sonic and Pokemon and sell with mediocrity off of name recognition alone.
