Controller is better for fighting games
Controller is more comfortable for fighting games, keyboard is objectively more precise. Even in games like Smash that benefit from granular stick control, the consistency and precision of keyboard puts it ahead of controller.

If I dont have to see woke used by the chuds of chuds at least thats a silver lining of sorts. But seriously, this just reminds me of the people who have terrible opinions saying no politics when they know that their own politics wont hold up to scrutiny.
Those are the same people complaining their "opinions are being censored."
FYI, using woke as a dog whistle has been moldable for a while now.

The protagonist moves the plot forward.
The main character is the perspective of the audience.

A classic example of the difference is The Great Gatsby. Gatsby is the protagonist, the narrator is the main character.

Personal anecdotes. Moved from Florida to NJ.

In Florida, kids would go to the mall or the beach, not much else to do. The only remaining mall is a bougie tourist trap - no theater, few food options, only bougie stores (no Hot Topic, books, Claire's, etc.) Kids had hobbies, like dirt biking, video games, DnD, or literal drag racing.

In my nice military/college town in NJ, there's lots of kids who wander the city in bikes. Unfortunately, I think most of them have parents who kick them out so they can do drugs all day. Most of them are good kids with bad guidance, but they are absolutely the types to break sinks at Starbucks or harass strangers because they're bored. Most people would rather not see/deal with the problem than try to help them or give them something to do.

It's fun for a first playthrough, but replays show the seams. There's 3 or 4 parts of the game where the pace just hits a brick wall. LoZ and LA don't have that problem, IMO. Especially towards the start, both games just put you in the action and keep on giving.

I like the Capcom games, but I'd put them even-ish with LttP. Same issue, bumps in pacing. They have a different feel, so it's reasonable to put them on the top or bottom depending on preference.

There's a reason LttP mods that cut out all the story are so popular >_>

Problems with pre-college tests:
- almost entirely correlated to income
- poor indication of future college achievement
- can be pricey to take/retake
- racial biased all over

Pros of pre-college tests:
- can highlight outliers
- extrinsic indicator of success, can study for the test

I went to a college "without grades" and standards were MUCH higher than a nearby well-regarded university. Grades are a real shitty metric in the first place if you think about it for a second.

I don't think I'd like that. Stick to the main crew as much as possible, they're already spread thin enough.
A side series would be fine, but villains don't need to justify their motivations, it should be obvious enough. Wano was kinda rough because of the focus on back and side plots.

On the other hand, Kuma's backstory was amazing. But that was semi-diagetic.

I went through a time where I tried to play as many Sonic clones as I could.
It's got good art design, though basic technical graphics (see the bosses) and nice music. It doesn't have the momentum issues many Sonic clones had, not is it a collectathon, thankfully. I honestly think it feels better than Sonic 1, it's just too basic in terms of level design, like Commander Keen.

FF6 has worse sprites for characters than the original.
FF1 has poorly styled sprites. The fighter and monk, in particular, look less cool.
The rest are pretty good.
