I have no concept of how it's used in other fields, but I'm a teacher and its applications around my job seem obvious. Everyone's mind goes to kids using it cheat, which they do, but for me, it's a great tool for writing simple, understandable tests/quizzes. I'm not great at dumbing myself down when I write, so a machine that can write like a reasonably smart high school student helps me dumb down perfectly.

Having now been exposed to Big Bang Theory reruns on TBS, I can safely say the writers at least had the occasional good line for Sheldon. The other characters do little for me, and it was dumb to give them wives and girlfriends, but there's about a line or two per episode that gets a sensible chuckle from me.

I am looking forward to the imminent decline of Tom Brady.

Especially when the ones you kinda figured would be Trump guys turn out to be reasonable people. Like you have to assume the 68 white dude who rides a Harley has gotta be the Trump demo, but nope. Turns out the guy who retired on a union pension working 30 years at the nuclear plant could see through the grift. Liberal boomer Facebook memes are a nice little subset of the boomer Facebook meme cinematic universe.
