It was one of the game's high points!Oof. I liked the stretch, but at the same time to say it's the best the game has...
The stretch of ascending to Upper Junon to finishing up chapter 8 is the best the game ever is.

Just got to chapter 9oops
Anyone remember there was an old website named, "AerisDies" or something like that (using her english name Aeris), from the late 90's or early 2000's, I think it was a Final Fantasy fansite or something. The whole thing was like the "Snape kills Dumbledore" of its day.
Ooh ok I thought so but my memory is fuzzy.Gongaga is new though. I mean it was in FFVII, but as an optional town with a few scenes, not as a region with major plot events.
Modern RPGs have lost the ability to do shops right. They just want to give you everything for free
Yeah the strangest decision to me is the materia earrings accessory. Accessory slots seem way more valuable than a single materia slot so I don't get the design behind those unless there was something I missed.
Same with the Gil, I bought all the discounted items just for the hell of it, but other than that I only ever bought QB cards. That's basically what they want you to do. It's boring as hell to play economy simulator in a single person game like this. It's just there for the occasional dopamine hit of a discount, and in rare cases when you do need to buy specific items.
I also wouldn't say boring and minor upgrades. There's the syngery attacks and then also things that matter a lot. Cait has 2 in particular that are super good. One keeps him from dying once and living with 1 HP and then the other lets him have a free level 2 buff to the team after using Let's Ride.like 1/5th of the nodes are good yeah. But there are literally ones that are like +3% attack damage, or +5% limit when you stagger. Pittance.
Is there any reason to pick normal and not easy in the Moogle homes? Something at the treasure trove maybe?
I also think it's weird you have to do it at a station or store. There's nothing there that implies it would be an issue to get to it whenever you want...of course there's so little reason to ever actually look at it that it doesn't really matter. This was so weird to me. Basically every time I walk into a bookstore, I wonder why I have to do this.
