Rules:
- Listen to both of the songs. Links have conveniently been provided for both songs. I dont care if Song A is your favorite of all-time and Song B is from a series you hate - Listen. To. Both. Then vote. Its only fair. (If I have suspicions you are not doing this, your vote may not count any longer, so watch it!)
- Obvious contest rules apply (no alts, one vote per person, no rallying, etc.).
- Topic lasts 24 hours, even if the new one isnt up by then. I may end a match early if there are obvious winners.
- Always vote on the versions of the song provided, not versions from different games. Also, please only vote based on the song and not any extra crap Youtube might have in the video.
- You don't have to vote in both matches, but it'd be cool if you did!
- If you know ahead of time that you're not going to be around and you want to vote in advance, that's cool - there are links available. Just post it in the discussion/bracket topic.
- Please don't post tallies/score updates in the middle of the match. I don't want people changing their votes based on the results.

I have said before that my favorite thing about VGMC is discovering new songs. But, it can be nice to hear from some of the old classics that have fallen out of mind over the years. Id be up for something like the VGMCXI masters side bracket again.

this breath of fire song and powerone both feel like they needed something more, i appreciate a nice ambient song but i dont feel like they did enough for me
ecco cd, my archnemesis, has shown up to me to prove that its not actually all that bad on its own and that my negative bias towards it is purely because it is a more known ost than the mega drive ecco soundtracks and gets the praise that i think they deserve

This might be my first time listening to Rusty Ruins in full, and DAMN, I've been missing out on a vibe for sure. The same kinda applies for The Machine, though Ecco in general is a good vibe.

sanic - this is chill. vocals dont annoy me really so that's great.

etrian odyssey 3 sunlight on the water - the beat is nice. vocals could be better but they could've been worse i guess.

unreal ska - serious sounding. kinda epic.

bread roll - munch. good stuff. L is real.
:ech: - this is pretty dramatic in a good way.

Electric Power Building: This song is really dark and repetitive. I don't really like that a lot but there are some cool sounds in it but I don't really like it a lot.

Rusty Ruins Act 2: Okay, this one is also pretty dark, but it has a nice melody and i also like the drums more too. I vote for Rusty Ruins Act 2

The Sunleth Waterscape: Oh. My God. I LOVE this song. It's so...floaty, and high...I'm walking on air! Masashi Hamauzu, thank you. Your so cool

Skaarj Assault: This song is pretty cool! I love how epic the instrumentation is, it reminds me of some of the soundtracks John Williams has done for movies and stuff. Sunleth Waterscape is still cooler though, so Im voting for that.

Staff Roll: Okay, this one I've heard a lot before just from listening to soundtracks. I like it, sure, but it's a little tired, so I might knock it because of how often I've heard it around...Come on, aren't there better Mario songs?!

The Machine: I haven't even heard of this game, what?! I want to play a game about a dolphin, but I don't have a Sega CD... X( Anyway, the song is also pretty cool...Also getting some John Williams style feelings from this one. Hard to choose, but I think Staff Roll wins for me in the end, so that is my vote.

Also, sorry this post is so close to the deadline! D: I'll make sure that doesn't happen again
