Board 8

I don't know, I think my final verdict is I don't like this game, which is funny, because I like every game this game is trying to be like.

I beat Baba is you for instance, I think I cheated on 2 of the 100 and something levels to get the true ending, some of which I took over an hour on...

But for some reason the puzzles here fell flat. I think part of it was it was so hard to know what was even supposed to be a puzzle. I had this nagging feeling it wanted me to decipher the language and I just was hard pass on that, so I wasn't sure if some of the puzzles were solveable without doing it.

You know, I think actually the closest comparison I have to this game is La Mulana 2 which I rage quit 60 hours in after being completely hooked before that, because I realized it was less of a puzzle solving game and more of a hit every single wall game because a vital path is behind some random one, and after 10 hours of going around hitting walls I quit. I kind of got the same vibe here, where I would spend an hour wandering around a map trying to see if there was something I missed. I think that's why I enjoyed the fairy's because it very clearly indicated where puzzles were so I didn't have to wander around butterfly meme style saying "Is this a puzzle?"
