A series rather than a single game: Soulblazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma.

Would also liked to have seen Brain Lord. I wish I hadn't listened to Nintendo Power, the game looks like it would have been fun.

You're the TRUE MVP here. Brain Lord is such an underrated game, and it has (in my honest opinion) one of the best OSTs of any videogame, ever. Soul Blazer is my favorite of the original trilogy, I just didn't include it because I thought it wouldn't be as popular as Actraiser and IoG (I had to leave out Terranigma, but I might add it on a different poll).

No Chrono Trigger and no Super Street Fighter 2 are the ones that stand out for me.

While I know they are remakes, I feel all stars being there would have been redundant what with that regular NES classic and all.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but I also prefer Donkey Kong Country 1 over 2 so I'm fine there

I still know nothing about this game, but it was one of the most iconic boxes from my childhood. I'd support its inclusion just for that.
