All of the cases I've seen in the topic asking if they count, I do see them counting, since the focus of the situation is first and foremost the game in question, then the actual
access
to the console. As far as having access to someone else's console, that counts too. I'd actually only see two scenarios for it not counting:
1._The console in question was bought or preordered BEFORE having bought the game for it.
2._Having a borrowed console (e.g. having it at your house/roomate's, traveling with it, etc.). This excludes having it at a friend's house, since you don't quite
have
the console.
I'm glad that this was a well-received idea and turned out to be much more common than I expected. It's a shame, though, that the rejection rate is so high for the PotD's. Thanks for the info, Luster.
