There were so many others that it occurred to me I should separate them by year too.
Anyway you look at it; 2003 and 2005 are great examples of years that need more than 5 or so games to appropriately represent the entire year.

Skies of Arcadia came out in 2000, and i don't think Allen would allow Legends to be on the 2003 list because of that... Not really sure how it works though. Same goes for Sonic Adventure 2 being in 2001 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle in 2002. I think the original release is the only one that counts.

2003 has... holy shit, a lot. SSX 3 is a game that needs more attention. F-Zero GX is a game that gets deserved respect but still needs more.

Cheers they aren't alongside the best ones. Maybe the best ones aren't good too, I don't know. But those ones are bad in comparison..
Almost all of them have more japanese culture in.

I may say TimeSplitter, Star Wars Battlefront.
Everything else looks like the transition between excelent games from the franchises, like Hitman, which his best game is Blood Money.

Dragon Quest VIII looks like it's going to take 2005.

Both 2003 and 2005 have excellent portable games that I feel too many people overlook.
