An rpg that would finally let Waluigi escape the sports only role. I don't think he's ever been in a non sports game unless you don't count Mario kart as sports. It would play just like the other Mario & Luigi games. But your maybe anti heroes instead.

I've wanted a Wario & Waluigi game for a long time now. If not that, integrate him into Wario Land or WarioWare somehow. It's about time Waluigi was introduced to a main series.

Super Mario Maker as one of those mushroom transformations, the closest he's ever come to being playable in a Mario platformer.

Also in Super Smash Bros as an assist trophy but he's not playable there so it doesn't really count I guess.

They aren't brothers. They aren't friends. All these years later and we still don't even rightly know who Waluigi is even supposed to be.

I've always imagined a Wario and Waluigi platformer where they begrudgingly work together and abuse each along the way... Kind of like Crash Twinsanity but good...

Having stuff like Waluigi running on top of a balled up Wario to get around or Wario picking up Waluigi to use as a club or throwing him like a spear to get to high places...

They aren't. Waluigi is literally just a random guy who shows up in sports games. And DDR for some reason.

I dunno about playing as em but they'd make a good recurring boss fight pair that you go up against throughout the game.

I think because Luigi and later Wario were already these sort of.. spin offs of Mario, and then to throw in a combined spin off of a spin off in Waluigi it seemed like the bottom of the barrel was truly being scraped

It's weird how even though it's the entire story, it's easy to forget this is a story about a dude who got flushed down a toilet.

Why Waluigi was never in any of the Wario Land games while they existed will forever be a huge mystery to me. Hell, he'd even fit perfectly in WarioWare, but he's a no-show there as well.

It'd be neat to get a platformer where you have Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi as the 4 playable characters, kinda like SM USA/SMB2 with Wario having a much shortest jump, but able to knock over enemies just by running into them like SML3, and Waluigi being light enough that he could run on water and have a jump that's a little higher than Luigi's.

A good future game would be a Mario and Luigi game that has a parallel plot with Wario and Waluigi

though personally I think the game I would like to see is a Peach and Daisy game in the same vein as the Mario and Luigi games

Every character has a spotlight moment in the story mode (Adventure Tour) of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games 2010 for DS, and Waluigi had one of the best ones imo. Great game too btw, highly recommend playing through the story mode of that game, tons of fan service moments.

My favorite theory on Waluigi's relationship to Wario is that Wario's rivalry with Mario reached a point where he wanted his own Luigi.

So he just hired some dude to be Waluigi.
