For once, nothing.

The only thing that seems interesting is No Rest for the Wicked, but I'm half tempted to just throw that money down on MGS3 Remake instead.
Honestly wait for full release, but I'm starting to doubt that it's ever going to happen
I'll probably wait until the Winter sale and see if the discounts are bigger.

I might grab one or two Big Fish games that has either a haunted or Halloween theme for next month.

Gosh there's like a bazillion ton of those to choose from though. :/

I ended up bagging MGS3 instead. Not on sale of course, but I fancied it.

I was debating on dying light 2 but then I see the major issue I have with modern games. Theres 3 versions to get and I dont know what one includes ALL the gameplay stuff. Oh well not worth researching.
Trying is the first step towards failure, so just dont give it a shot and you cant dissapoint.
The only game I'm really interested in picking up is BG3 but I'm not in the market for a new game right now and with a low sale like that, I don't mind waiting.

Just get the base game. Dying Light 2: Reloaded Edition. There is 1 dlc, Bloody Ties, that adds an unrelated side story, but it's a terrible dlc.

Dying Light 2 imo is pretty inferior to 1. So may even be fine just skipping it entirely.

I actually enjoyed 2 more than 1. But I'm also one of the rare people that enjoyed Subnautica Below Zero more than Subnautica 1. Same reasoning for both, I was less terrified, so I was able to enjoy the exploration more lol

why

Puts more focus on story and choices when the story is pretty ass in the first place. Like it is a pretty big part of the game, when the first games entire allure was "run around and kill zombies and parkour". They've since updated 2 quite a bit since launch, including removing the stamina loss when climbing and jumping (which...there are perks to make you climb faster which are now more or less useless as the entire point of them was such that you can climb higher things without running out of stamina). The combat was pretty bad at launch but has since been updated with more gore and more raw feedback.

I dunno it just felt like a more generic open world checklist game than Dying Light 1 did. An over emphasis on story and a time limit at night just annoyed me. I put about 25 hours into it and just dropped it.

Yeah, I played that game in my teens and always got stuck. I wanna tey getting back into it. Just don't wanna spend 20-30 for a PS2 game, haha
I bought Mark of the Ninja for the third time. Just can't help it, it's such a tight experience.

Yeah i really liked 1 and consistently hear that about 2. Which is why I havent bought it yet and didnt bother looking into it.

Not a bad buy. NRFTW is fun and looks great, but it's not complete and I highly doubt they're getting over the finish line at this point. My guess is it's either going to be an eternal EA game or they're going to launch it and dump it. I think they're having money issues atm, but I forget where I heard that.
Store page busted for anyone else? Literally will not load anything, and if I go to a specific game's page I can't even add to cart
If it was about babies we'd have universal maternal care. There would be no charge no matter how complex the delivery. But its not about babies, is it?
It just loaded for me.

Anybody getting Ghost of Tshushima? Kinda want to with Yotei coming out but the gameplay loop looks so generic.

I loved it but the setting and story did a lot of work for me. Alot of people complain about the ubisoft loop, which I didnt mind, so if thats a deal breaker then I dont know if you'll like it.

Doesn't matter much anyway, good friend of mind randomly sent me a copy of NRFTW due to birthday coming up, so looks like I'll get to enjoy both due to their generosity.

from what i remember about playing the ps4 version it's kinda like the earlier assassin's creed games before the RPG stuff but with better combat and i think no ubisoft towers either. the settings and design really help as well. not sure how the pc version performs but it was an enjoyable experience overall. basically a good take on the open world samurai/ninja games
