It was fine until the assassination attempt and then it felt like they were doing drugs for a few hours and suddenly the school is attacked by some weird thing and then it becomes apparent that you and the others are connected somehow...

People who werent around back then really cant imagine how on top of the gaming world SE was. Everything made by them was a critical hit, even the ones considered bad today. They were tech ical marvels, fun to play, and the stories were unique for the era.

Its sad, even with how pretty Ff16 is, that it just doesnt feel as interesting as the ps1 games (although i did feel the magic peak through during boss fights)

i dont hate Cross. For whatever reason, I dont hate it as a sequel to Trigger. I didnt play it expecting it to be. I wasnt mad with what happened with the characters. It made me want to make things right. I think the game is also beautiful, and when I played it as a teen, it was one of my first stories involving alternate realities and butterfly effect stuff.

saga 2 i somewhat understand but threads of fate now you are just trolling
game has the best protag mint my fav character i wish we got more of her and her personality was a breath of fresh air even to this day we need more arrogant bratty types like her who kicks as and face kicks anyone who dares get in her way of world domination

I still get the good feelings from some games.

16 didnt have the scope or cast that made 6-9 so interesting and still talked about today. It has cool boss fights, and thats all anyone really says.

the music in both of those games is, as the kids say, fire . I think it's too late now for a proper sequel. musashi got one for the ps2 and it was garbo.

I know exactly what you mean, square Enix is 100 % Enix and 0% square,
Still if they wanted to do action rpgs this last 15 years they could have tried, I would have given it a shot and buy it ,I love those games and miss the days me and my sister played tof to see what each other campaign was like and glad there was a fork in the story , THATS GOOD STORY TELLING ,sorry about the caps
