Yes, it was a real breath of fresh air after playing so many Medal of Honor games. I spent tons of time back in the day playing both this and CoD2's multiplayer. Not sure how well they hold up today, but at the time I really enjoyed it.

OG Call of Duty fucking slapped, and the United Offensive expansion was great too

United Offensive multiplayer was damned good.

360/ps3 was peak for it. black ops 1 and 2. mw1 and 2. then just got worse and worse over the years. at this point i haven't liked any of the games that much this or last gen. i bought a couple and regretted it.

A few minutes of 2's campaign, and a few minutes of I dunno which one at a LAN party, and that's it.

guaranteed very few people voting no read this part. great gaming coming off of medal of honor AA's success in the WWII shooter market. being able to aim down iron sights was incredibly cool at the time.

Series was peak with original modern warfare 2 and black ops

It didn't need clarification to begin with, but TC went above and beyond. Of course, CE is still gonna choke on it because they're CE.

No. I prefered Medal of Honor when I used to play those games. Also Call of Duty once was milked more than the Madden franchise.

I got it for Christmas, I loved waking up and playing it on my laptop (had an Alienware back then, back when it was an independent company). The aim down sights mechanic blew my mind.

I figure so. But I still took it as the entire franchise. I played one of them at a friend's and I just was all Medal of Honor was more fun and it had a story and it was historical too and very cinematic. CoD was just click click boom.
