For a second I thought the second one said No to all ingredients. And was super confused.

I haven't worked fast food since high school over 30 years ago but when I did none of that stuff ever bothered me because all burgers were just buns and meat until we made them whatever they were supposed to be. So honestly making something like with no ketchup, no mayo, no whatever was actually easier. It was just less stuff we had to put on there.

Adding "extra" onion or whatever was easy because you were already putting stuff on there anyway. i pretty much always put too many toppings on there anyway. I was very generous with toppings.

Yes, custom orders would've pissed me off because it would takeaway from us being in the "zone" and it only increases the likely hood that the order is going to be wrong. I remember when I was in highschool and working part time at a Carl's Jr. Some guy ordered 10 Famous Stars with very very specific instructions for each burger like "mustard on top of the mayonaise on top of the ketchup that is on top of the tomato that is under the patty". Well one of his burgers order was wrong and not only did he started yelling at our cashier, he also demanded a full refund and a free large drink while keeping the burgers (what we got wrong was on one of the burgers, he wanted the cheese on top of the onion that was suppose to be on top of the patty).

It was one reason I never wanted to work in fastfood again.
DI MOLTO!
That specific one is the kinda thing that would've pissed me off at first glance, but I'd have realized it's not as complicated as it looks when actually reading the ticket.
