no
I got lucky and got my foot in the door in tax/finance without a degree. Pretty much built my resume up enough that it was my college and have been slowly climbing the ladder position to position.

Kinda how I got the job before the one I currently have.

Was desperate for a job that had benefits, and got a job in the mailroom as basically a favor to a friend that already worked there.

Slowly worked my way into the Accounting Department, and was basically the lead of the AR Department by the time I left that job 11 years later.
You gotta laugh. That is the one thing at the end of your life you will not wish you did less of.
Today probably not, but my mom is president of a bank with no college degree and started as a teller.

a little sad, degrees are even more important than during your mom's time
Not really

I do know a couple of people with white collar jobs that do not have any degrees, but they were either there because of nepotism or because they got into that position working from the bottom up at a time when college degrees weren't necessary. It's still possible now, but it's close to fucking impossible because the moment you say on your resume that you don't own a Bachelor's degree it would immediately get tossed out.
DI MOLTO!
I have one and many others I know do as well, however we worked our way from the bottom over the course of 20 years.

As others have said nepotism and sometimes starting at the bottom can work.
I will say, more places should just train promising people who are at the bottom. That could build loyalty instead of wasting through people every few years or less.
AP and AR are good candidates as mentioned.

You can probably find a "marketing coordinator" role somewhere without any educational requirements. Though it'll probably be administrative gruntwork and no marketing.

I've seen plenty of buyer/planner roles that don't require a degree.
