Man, I haven't heard the name Sally Struthers for years and it made me wonder what South Park's problem with her was. Apparently it was just that she had the audacity to advocate for starving children in third world countries while being mildly heavy.

I know it's South Park, but I think that's still pretty fucked up to go that hard on someone just for that.

I honestly can't remember any of the bad ones. I only remember the ones I liked, such as the Kraft Mac & Cheese commercials, the (I think it was Dyson) cat fursplosion commercial, and
"Am I your man, Mr Dumbass?" "The name. is. Dumass!" "Now that's thick-headed!"

Oh, and a car commercial about Thanksgiving day where a mom fishes a turkey out of the swimming pool while a dog and boy are watching, and screams, "I thought. I. told. you. to stay. out. of the kitchen!!!!!" Other highlights are a guy with plumber's crack raking the leaves and a guy at a family turkey deep frying/BBQ performing a sword dance with chef's knives. Only downside to the commercial is that it ends with some guys driving a car to the Batman theme for some reason. BTW, does anyone know where I can find this video?

I do not like South Park because I do not like mean spirited humor and I do not like soapbox type of humor. I do not like social commentary from nihilistic characters talking about how every niche you like is bad.

Wait, I just thought of one that I really hated! It's of a car picking up a kid standing at the side of the road with a tuba. Luckily it's short.
However, I had the great misfortune of seeing the original version (it was a 2-part commercial, with the above part played during a second commercial break) The first commercial consisted entirely of a kid playing When The Saints Come Marching in on the tuba -- BADLY for a whole fucking minute. The 2nd part was originally longer with the kid continuing to play the tuba like crap for a few seconds before the car arrives.
It was a 2 part car commercial, FYI. 1st part was never played again (thankfully) after a test run during a Simpsons repeat, and the 2nd part was clipped so that nobody had to be subjected to the horrible tuba noise ever again.

When I was six or seven years old, a Cincinnati-area local news commercial in the early 90's had a major influence on my fear of tornadoes. It was a five-second ad for the weather team's new Doppler radar called 'Tim's Weather Breakthrough ' (pun intended) which had an animated tornado rip through the screen and fly toward the viewer (sound effects and all), and leave behind a gaping black hole in the screen. I had to leave the room or be ready to shut my eyes and cover my ears whenever that station ran commercials in the evenings.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.

Pretty much most of the anti tobacco or drug ones. I get they are bad for you but if you gotta lie to make your point you failed.

anti-drug PSA's are usually made by tobacco companies so maybe they are wrong on purpose to make anti-drug ads look bad.

I agree that smoking anything is bad for you. But pharmaceuticals all tend to have negative side affects and problems with long term use.

I don't currently smoke but back when I last did it was great for a headache. I didn't even really get high cause well I was at work. I'd just take a couple of puffs put it out and get back to work. And to throw it out there my boss knew he was the one selling it to me and I worked a spot where the only person I could get hurt was myself.

I will not take Tylenol though. I already put enough stress on my liver.

My grandad got liver cancer and he was a drinker but the doctor said it was absolutely from his Tylenol use. He hated going to a doctor so he just ate those things like candy. Where as with drinking he never really got drunk he just actually liked the taste of beer and it would take him over a hour to finish one can.
