"...it's where all my stuff is"

Really shows that even though they're evil they have a pretty good head on their shoulders and can see the bigger picture
I like villains that are otherwise normal people they just have one single vendetta that takes precedent over everything else.

I also really love when a villain joins the hero's party to help take down a worse villain who's trying to destroy the world that they want to rule
I like it when bad guys aren't really a bad guy, they just had a bad upbringing or are misunderstood.

I like it when bad guys are bad because bad
Sack to crack, going to town
A lot of people are too closed-minded about villains (and everything else but villains are relevant).

Sure, relatable villains can be good. But then again, so can crazy ones. Or the ones who are perfectly sane, just evil.

One of my very favorite villain quotes comes from a villain plenty of people say was ruined by it:

Hehehe... That's the face... The face of rage, suffering and humiliation... It's my greatest pleasure... A pleasure only a ruler can fully appreciate!
There's a difference between canon and not-stupid.

generally if a villain is enough of a self-serving narcissist to want to end everything for everyone, they dont seem like the type of character who would let go of a world in which they have that kind of power and recognition

it's why i think characters like (attack on giant spoilers) eren jagoff are total posers, whereas characters like Shabriri in elden ring are the real deal
My fate was the grandest, most brilliant of them all.

Party leader, passive-aggressive doormat, pasta eater extraordinaire!
Maybe the villains were just the friends we met along the way

I dont want the world. I just want your half.
Why be stupid? Does it make you happy to be stupid?
I like when villains are petty af. Maleficent cursing a child because she wasn't invited to a baby party is one of my favorite reasonings for a villainous act
I don't believe in belts. There should be no ranking system for toughness.
