Well that's the thing. Most people are actually in support of what they're protesting, IE ending the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. The media has sold this as "these kids just hate Jews" because, like in all protests, there are bad faith actors, agitators, and provocateurs who enter these events to satiate their own agenda.
The more the media sells that narrative, the more it seeps into the American general electorate consciousness.
