Yes. Very much so.

Mixed neighbourhoods, rather than ghettos of the very rich and very poor, develop empathy and understanding for your fellow humans.

As well as ensuring all areas have a good standard of servicing, facilities, and policing

Subsidized housing should be allowed anywhere.
It is impossible to live in the past, difficult to live in the present, and a waste to live in the future.
(He/Him).
Im for it. Gives a chance for non-rich folks to rub elbows with people from rich families which will give them a higher chance of success via networking and being in their inner circles.

None of these opportunities are available in poorer neighborhoods.
Its a me....MARIOOOO
Wouldn't bother me.

If there's housing an wealthier neighborhoods that the government is willing to give the seller fair market value for and then subsidize it, who am I to stop them?

That being said, I don't know if local governments are willing to buy up multi-million dollar homes in nice neighborhoods in hopes they can house 2-3 families when they can put up a building with 40 affordable apartments in them with the same amount of money.
It takes zero effort to be a good person.

Reduces homelessness, increases employment and opportunity, generally good for human welfare

Them upzoning the neighborhood to allow multifamily, then building the apartment/townhome/etc. would be ideal.
