12 year old girl
Well, from what I have heard from people who have the Japanese art book they are pretty sure they know the exact artwork that is probably the subject of this.. which is a fully nude piece or art of a 12 year old girl so. YaWhat in the actual fuck
What exactly is being changed? From what I've read, it could be the picture of

More Sony censorship and yet people will tell you companies censor stuff completely voluntarily when working with Sony.

Did you not read posts 3-5 or are you okay with this
Did you not read posts 3-5 or are you okay with thisThe remake of Tsukihime has no nudity, as it was made for consoles and it would be never have been released on them if so. I've only read the original Tsukihime and I don't remember any characters that young. Everyone is 18 or older.

Console games can have nudity. Not visual novels. They're notoriously prudish about this sort of thing. You can at least install uncensored patches on PC.

Yeah, that is not the hill to fight an anti censorship battle on.

Basically. Opposing censorship needs to stay neutral to the material. There are limitations. For example, would you want rampant hate speech to be uncensored? Either way, from an optics perspective, it doesn't look good to be fighting on this particular case, like when people got upset over the modification to underwear in Chrono Cross.
Don't let the narrative be twisted against you.

Yeah, some of the alterations--such as the removal of the bust slider and the universal changes to the fundoshi outfit set--were needless, but the censorship to Lin was absolutely necessary.

In this case since Nintendo is releasing it unaltered I'd doubt any genitals are visible let alone there being anything sexual. Did the people with the unaltered artbook say if the nudity was genuine nudity or like barbie doll anatomy nudity or merely topless?I took a look at the image in question (although we're still not sure if this is the image that was supposedly censored).

She's wearing a cape, her hands are outstretched covering her breasts. You can see the rest of her naked body (but nothing detailed "down there"). The story may say she's 12, but she looks a lot older than that.
So the picture in question is of an adult with Barbie anatomy?Well, ok maybe not.

Well, ok maybe not.So...
I read more into the wiki andI guess that the character had an "evil version" of themselves that was split off when the character was 12.
Are you seriously over here complaining Sony censored a 12 year old nude art, but why didn't Nintendo? My point is that Nintendo looked at the art book and found that it was fine and didn't violate any guidelines. You'd think if any company was going to complain, it'd be Nintendo.
This seriously the hill you want to die on? That Sony should embrace nude 12 year old art because Nintendo shamelessly did?

Weird. Almost like this is a lie.

You'd think if any company was going to complain, it'd be Nintendo.sony has actually been heavier on cesnoring of sexual related stuff for probably like 5+ years now. I think it's easy to forget since when most people think of nintendo they think of a lot of the big name and/or first party games which aren't going to have anything remotely like that in the first place
If that's the case I shocked Nintendo is leaving it uncensored. That's like the one thing a company usually does not want to be associated with in almost all cases.
