It wont show up in a photo but you can look in through the windows and in the lobby of the Twitch building is a giant LCD Screen and its constantly showing hundreds of live streams on the form of little screens. Why do i get the feeling this room smells really bad
Theyll actually let you go in and check it out, they have a collection of gaming chairs and land setups as wellbut it feels awkward to do if your not part of a tour of whatever.

lmao
probably will try to get hired as their social media manager
Didn't envision anything at all, but if I were to I would expect a regular office in a nondescript building. The same way I figure every shit, bland, soulless corporation outfit to look like.

"I got some really killer ideas on how to get that 12-18 demo caring about message boards!"
"What if we made KARMA into a CRYPTOCURRENCY?!?!?!"BitKarma
Like the other day I saw a 20 minute video for Unicorn Overlord for a particular unit comp. That unit comp could have been 5 pictures with a sentence/paragraph explaining it
video guides might be the future but they are absolutely a straight downgrade from text with images
Appreciate a few folks have asked me what games I wrote stuff for, I'd rather not mention them directly. My reasoning is that I don't want the other creators and/or game community to be disrupted by my actions.
Yes, it's easy to do a bit of sleuthing to find out, and tbh most communities are pretty dead - but I took my guides down, I don't feel a need to advertise what games were affected.
Would it really disrupt them? I think it'll be good for them to get a headsup that some former resources are no longer there. To be honest, it probably wouldn't disrupt the communities. One has just had a new game released, over 20 years after the last game. As someone from that community said, it's Half-Life 3 levels of hype.

I would prefer my contributions to remain as anonymous as possible. Yes, it's probably easy to do some digging to find what games they were, but I don't want my actions to be misconstrued as a public protest. It's simple freedom of expression. I didn't like something, I did something, no need to shout about it.

I don't understand why people make fun of me for this. Prior to moving over to Web3 the highest payest job I ever had was 75k a year. Working in the marketing department the medium wage I make is 150k, and the max I ever made via salary was 250k. But that doesn't include crypto bonuses, and side hustles...
...like I don't care about the technology at all. I don't actually believe that NFTs and The Metaverse is going to change the future. Its all weird, nonsense. But it does exist, and it allowd for people who might otherwise be unable to reach financial security...to do so.
It's like the Dawn of The Internet when nobody really new how to make a website, so if you taught yourself and was entrepreneurial enough, then you could make it for yourself. Then same thing at the Dawn of Social Media . Then again at Dawn of Mobile Apps/Games. We are in the "collect profits, and build an empire" stage in the Dawn of Web3 , and considering the Dawn of AI is upon us...Web3 is going to even out, and just become another impenetrable peice of mainstream capitalism, so now is pretty much someone's last time to learn how to work thus stuff, and make a good life your and your family.
But, this is just a thing with tech trends in general. Notice what's pretty new, and is being adopted slowly by mainstream, and immerse yourself in it, so once it becomes a fixture of society...you have the experience.
For instance, to become the Director of Marketing, Communications, or Business Development for a AAA Game Company you typically need 10-15 years experience in the industry. But if we go back to 2019, when Web3 was entering the mainstream you could get same position, with the same salary with only two years of experience. Currently you can still land those jobs with only 3-4 years of experience (I have 7).
Now we go to AI Technology. The brand new thing thats really only been around for about a year, and only just now penetrating mainstream adoption...if you have even one year of experience in AI, then you can apply for Director Level Roles! If you were to learn this stuff now, and just join a bunch of discords, and start making friends, and clans, and then contracting your skills...by 2026 you'd have two years experience, in an industry that has only existed for three years, but almost every single tech company in the world will have some sort of department for!
That's your opportunity...and who cares if you hate AI, and think its ruining society or whatever. Go learn it, get a career, save for your retirement.
I have backups. However I expect these won't be shared online again. It's not just Fandom/GFAQs fault, everything these days is video guides. Life moves on, as have I.
That said, if I get a PM from someone who wants help with a game I'm semi-decent with, that's all good.
I'll never give up my ninja rope skills on Worms
I've actually benefited from crypto at its peak but still clinging to it now is lol
why the fuck are you talking about user acquisition strategy on the sex board?Because the sex board doesn't have regular mods that prevent discussion of those topics. A lot of bullies and people who are not liked from other boards tend to visit there. Use to be a lot of drama specifically started by a user named Luna. Who I don't think is here anymore. There was one topic where another user created to specifically attack and bully another person on this site which the regulars jumping in to get pot shots. Straight disgusting.

All I ever see you do is complain about other boards. Ever stop to think that maybe you are the problem? The sex board was more or less private and had loose topicality. Outside of a few bad apples (like there is everywhere), it was a tight knit community full of engaging people. You hardly posted there.Do you have a personal problem with me or something? If the only thing you care about when concerning me is negative comments, then that will be the only thing you ever see. I don't always post negative comments and yes I'm not the best user here. Im trying to be a little better but I have a long way to go so I apologize for the negative view I show. I let my emotions get the best of me and its something I'm trying to work on. But seriously, can we steer clear of personal attacks on a thread that has nothing to do with me? If you want to attack me, message me in private but please don't derail the topic. Tc is cool. He deserves respect.
You just described people like Kenneth Copeland and their megachurches.

Edit: I just realized the person I replied to is an alt.
lmao:-D
But some people profit from it so naturally it's pushed.About 2% from the people actually profiting, then about 98% from the schmucks left holding the bag after the first group got done gouging them.
crypto stuffI know, don't feed the troll etc, but I've lived quite a happy life working in Engineering. I'll leave it to my 271 friends to take the bait.
I'd like to implore you to reconsider. The idea of a free and open collection of community-created textual game guides has helped innumerable gamers over the last few decades and should outlive the downfall of any single particular hosting platform. Text is more searchable, requires less storage and bandwidth, and most importantly, I'm old and just can't get into consuming everything by video.TBH mate, well said and reasoned. It wasn't an easy decision to remove my guides and reviews, some of which would be over 20 years old by now.

One more what?Necrobump. That's what he does. The last 4 posts are all him necrobumping from different accounts. He also gets pissed off when you mention it, for some reason. He's blocked me on most of those accounts.

I think they are all MysteryBumper alts, but don't quote me on it. That's nowhere near a fact.
