Lol, I couldn't care one way or the other. And not even in a 'it's just a joke bro' attitude, since he's very obviously being sincere in his more legitimate reviews.

To cite another example, Yahtzee doesn't particular care for my all-time favorite games (and vice versa), but I still love his content and respect his opinions.
Simple questions deserve long-winded answers that no one will bother to read.

I don't follow him at all. My introduction to him was just joke speculation of Smash Ultimate characters, which I found funny, but not enough to seek out more of his videos

Also, loads of jrpgs do have stale and dumb storylines.

He just make funny reviews. I don't take his opinions seriously.
Once you're aware of your own art, you can train yourself to identify and replicate the "good" ones...
And hands off the bad ones.

I don't mind because he's one of those reviewers that has no problems telling people up front which genres he likes and doesn't like so that you can take that into consideration going into a review.
