Im curious what the retention rate will be. While it doesnt look like trash, I havent seen any gameplay of that game that makes it look at all enticing. Not sure if mod support can drastically change it or not, but I wouldnt be surprised if 90% of people drop it before completing the main story.
3 and NV are a bit too dated and janky for modern audiences. 4 makes sense.you can't be serious.
Fallout 4 is physically on modern consoles, 3 and NV are not.All fallout games still being released in any form have been selling great thanks to the show.
4 is absolutely not worse than 3.lmao
yeah it's pretty sad. even 76 is a better option, honestly.
I swear New Vegas might be the most overrated game Ive ever seen in a series.
It's the most accessible game. As good as NV and 3 are, they're clunky by today's standards and people would get turned off it pretty quickly. How in the world do you figure? VATs is the same across all 3 games. The whole gameplay loop is nearly identical across all three, except that in 4 you annoyingly have to do a lot more inventory management because you need junk to upgrade weapons/armor/settlements. And settlements arent fun.

And settlements arent fun.3 and NV play like an RPG with shooting mechanics. 4 is the first one that feels like a shooter, and it's gameplay mechanics are simplified, for better or worse. You can, for the most part, skip the settlement stuff, so I don't really think that's a factor if you don't enjoy it (which is a subjective thing anyways - I enjoyed it, although it was a bit shallow).

Settlements are one of the most fun things about 4 until the bugs start happening.Which can be as soon as you populate Sanctuary and get the '0 beds available' bug, forcing you to walk into the Settlement and open workshop mode for the game to load properly and realize, "Oh, yeah, all these beds, crops, and water sources DO EXIST!"
Settlements are one of the most fun things about 4 until the bugs start happening.Settlements in the base game were boring as shit and only served to generate unlimited caps and get a couple of pointless achievements.
