Im curious what the retention rate will be. While it doesnt look like trash, I havent seen any gameplay of that game that makes it look at all enticing. Not sure if mod support can drastically change it or not, but I wouldnt be surprised if 90% of people drop it before completing the main story.I doubt most people just getting into Fallout now are gonna be interested or even knowledgeable in modding.
Worst game? It's not FO76.I've actually been enjoying FO76 more than 4, the world just feels more interesting and at least there's a purpose to building up your little settlement.
Nah, if people start with Fallout 4 they'll just see it as a competent game, instead of comparing it to 1, 2, or NV.
Didn't they just release a next gen update for it?
fallout 4 is literally the best one stay mad guyshttps://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/1/16f70680.jpg
3 and NV are a bit too dated and janky for modern audiences. 4 makes sense.

Fallout 4 is a great game. I'll never understand the "X is better, therefore Y is just bad" mindset people have when it comes to this kind of thing. Its not a great Fallout game because it has literally none of the hallmarks of that franchise that people want:
Dropping a Bethesda game before beating the main quest has been a staple for decades. I bet a full third of players in this wave won't even confront Kellogg.

I mean, Fallout 4 is the most accessible one to get at major brick and mortar stores. I don't see how Fallout 3 and NV would be selling in the first place.
That's awesome, love that game. I hope all the new players submit enough negative feedback on the bugs involving settlements that they finally resolve them and make them not nightmares.Hahahahahahaha oh you sweet summer child
4 is the only one I've played, I really enjoyed itYou really should try the others, they make your character choices much more meaningful. 3 is like a really fun homage to classic 60s sci-fi anthology shows and New Vegas is like a Western revenge with all sorts of interesting factions and decisions to make.
I kinda wish I wasn'tIt really fucks with the roleplaying aspect of the game. Not that there's much of that to begin with, but it certainly doesn't help.a motherat the beginning of the game. I kinda prefer how Skyrim did it by making you a total nobody despite your character's powers.
