What will you spend it on?"
Actually the rules are permissive enough to let one spend on hitmen. They give no tangible benefit and you are left with only memories of whoever you want taken out. That's bloody illegal though. And immoral.
You are always the hero of your story, and a villain in someone else's. So, lose the ego, and be as nice as possible.
If we use say half the money on the hitman to take out TC can we then use the other half however we want?

You have to spend it on experiences, not tangible items that will last past the 48 hours.

For example

Courtside seats to the Knicks, Limo service, an overnight stay at the most expensive hotel in NYC, and dinner at the most expensive steakhouse in the City can easily run you $50k.

And others have said, if its your thing, a night with company would cover the rest.
It takes zero effort to be a good person.
I was trying to come up with a plan to take my family of 4 to Disneyland for two days, with upgraded Park Hopper tickets, the shorter line deal, and food (no souvenirs per the rules) and then use the the rest of the money to buy up reserved tickets to reduce the crowds. But I quickly realized that even the full $75,000-worth of (reserved but unused) tickets wouldnt even make a dent in the crowds.

Hrm. So if I spent it all on digital currency to buy cosmetics for randos in some mmo, it wouldn't work either?

Pretty sure I'd need more than 48 hours to set that up.

Theres 2 courtside seats to Game 5 on StubHub right now for $25k each.

I stand corrected.

The restaurant strikes me as a little harder, though.

Unless I can use this money for bribing the person handling reservations.

I'm sure you could spend the money on some extremely mid food at one of Salt Bae's restaurants.

With $75k you can definitely get someone else's reservation cancelled.

That's tough because it's only 48 hours. I can do a big trip to Disneyland for 2 days, but even with the most expensive room and most expensive tickets, that's only $21,000. No way we'd be able to spend another $54,000 just on food and stuff.

Yeah. Id consider it a tangible asset.

Basically, youd have to spend it on experiences, not stuff.

Nah dental work would be fine, depending on what the work. If you leave with nothing then you have nothing. It's be like getting a hair cut.

That's fair. I guess if it's something like getting a decaying tooth pulled.

But if it's something like braces or dentures, then I'd consider that a tangible thing.

Personally doesn't seem worth my time. I can't actually use the money to better my life based off the scenario.

Seems like a hypothetical that would just remind me how poor I am compared to the top 1% once I'm done.
I convert the entire $75k into cash, and hand it to a friend with instructions to hide it. Once the deadline is up that friend retrieves the money and we split it.

You'd be left with tangible assets though. The money itself.

This would be supervised.

I would probably buy a lot of computer hardware. And build a gaming PC and extra crypto mining PCs. Specifically mainly a slew of RTX 4090s

I'd book my trip to Vegas for EVO 2024. And make it a 1 month trip. Yet have 2 emergency return to home Plane trips paid ahead of time

You, sir, are far too pessimistic regarding the amount of blow I can fit inside me!
I thought of something completely different, that tree stand in part 7 of jojo since I had just read it lol

Anyways like somebody else said the best option for me would probably beto prepay for a reservation of something. Unless that counts as an "asset", in which case I truly don't have any idea how id blow that much money that fast...

I'd treat the fam to the most expensive restaurant in town, and then treat myself to the most expensive and luxurious escort service for two nights.

And if it's permissable by the rules, buy a roundtrip first class trip to somewhere nice.

When the 48 hours is up, you can have no tangible assets (including stocks) that you didn't already have before the 48 hours started.
