This is just bad all around because DJT has since climbed back to $38/share. Hard to say when he bought it but he sold at pretty much the bottom. Terrible investing choice but also a reminder that for everyone saying that they got rich on a meme stock or coin there are net losers as well.

If the darn libs hadn't set Trump up and gone on a political witch-hunt where a crooked DA and a biased judge went after him for crimes he committed before he was President that he has Presidential Immunity for and is totally innocent of and is allowed to do anyway, then this old man wouldn't have been forced to own them so hard by throwing his life savings away in an incredibly obvious money laundering scheme involving worthless stock that is actually worth loads because Trump is a business genius.

Excellent. An impoverished MAGAt is a MAGAt that can't donate to Trump or the Republican party.

hopefully he'll learn from this.

it's a shame that he didn't learn the lesson sooner (trump bankrupted himself multiple times and costed people money especially in those campaign rally states).

At this point it's so pathetic, it's not even funny anymore. If it was a rich guy I'd be happier, but it's probably some dumb working class schmuck who ruined his retirement and probably gave his family lots of stress.

Yeah, it's like how if you just go by anecdotes everybody wins big in Vegas, because nobody's going to brag about how much money they lost there.

He's a person who lies to everyone and cheats everyone but somehow there are people who think surely he wouldn't lie to them or cheat them.

This is why cults are bad. They lead regular people who just want some sense of community into self-destructive behaviors. It's doubtful this man would have had the retirement savings he did if he had been making dumb financial choices his whole life. But at some point he was convinced that showing his loyalty to Trump was more important than securing his own financial future.

I'm not here for friends. I'm here for the truth to the best of my knowledge of it, even if it's not what people want to hear.
He'll probably still vote for him and if Trump wins say goodbye to Social Security too so he's going to have to work even more. He'll probably blame Democrats, liberals, and LGBT+ people for this somehow.

I mean there's more than that, the fact that he apparently staked his entire retirement on a single stock was pretty stupid in and of itself. This is why a diversified portfolio is important and the older you get the less risk you should be willing to take in your investments. This guy was apparently retired and he bet it all on DJT stock? That's just foolish to begin with. He tried to play in the casino and the house won like it always does. It is another good cautionary tale though that when there's hype for a meme stock or a crypto coin that you shouldn't put it all on black and let it ride.

Yeah, there's a 90% chance he'll still vote for the man who cost him his life's savings. Something, something, liberals.
