I've said it before - people shit on the story of FFV for being "low stakes," "not serious" etc. butGiving it a bit more thought its not the story thats off for me, its the tone. I dont like the tone, but that doesnt mean its bad.unlike the multiple bullshit fakeout deaths in FFIV, people in FFV get dead and stay dead.
