Sometimes yes, sometimes not, but we have more of a spending problem then a tax problem tbh.

Depends on the tax. Taxes that are disproportionately paid by the rich and incentivise economic activity rather than saving and rent-seeking (i.e. taxes on wealth, land, inheritance and high incomes) are good, as are taxes on things that cause harm (e.g. tobacco, alcohol, pollutants).

We need higher taxes on everyone, yes the rich and the middle class, in order to achieve the type of social welfare that people generally point of the Nordic countries
