I've never agreed with tearing down statues. Put them in a museum and/or put a placard near it stating the bead things they did if they did indeed do bad things. But I would be careful to not make it look opinionated just simply state facts.
This can be done for the north if the man even has a satue. He did horrible things in NC atleast. (There was animal cruelty involved so rather tou dont care about the other stuff that is horrible enough) So just make it a list of notable things they did good or bad. You ran out of the last thread when asked why you support a party that is willing to circumvent your vote in order to do what they want. You conceded that some republicans voted in favor for pro choice rights and it's the party that is trying to circumvent the will of the people. I asked you to explain why you would support a party who went "You voted for this but we don't want to do this so we are looking for a way to overturn your vote."

I'm a Texan and I can't remember the last time I saw an ad from a Texas politician (almost all of the ones in my area are republican) that even pretended to discuss policy. It's all "I'm a Trump-loving conservative who will stop Joe Biden from flooding the border with illegals!"
