Never disagreed with that. I just prefer my history matter of factly rather than have opinions brought in. The north held moral high ground especially when it came to slaves but they wherent all saints either. Thr South was horrible but they have made some good contributions if I'm not mistaken.
Hell one point I contest is the underground railroad woulda never worked if some southerners wherent abolitionists.
Yeahbfuck the confederacy as far as the government side went. The soldiers are iffy. Iirc my history right there was a draft and it took 500 bucks to buy out of the draft. Which slave owners where probably the majority of who could afford that. That in itself is a fucked up practice. If they wanted to defend slavery so bad they shoulda fought for it themselves.
