When a director doesn't understand themes or characters found in the source material, they are not capable of delivering a "100% accurate" adaptation. That lack of understanding runs through Snyder's body of work.

Considering how wonky he made Superman's story, sure. I mean, if it's not even remotely accurate to me life, I doubt I'd care. And I'll probably have a dispute with someone that gets resolved by my enemy's mother having the same name as mine.
