I like both. One thing is clear. They both were great in the 80's and after that I tuned out both. Well to be fair I liked Megadeth through like 92. So they lasted a couple albums longer for me than Metallica did. Metallica was literally my favorite band of the 80's. But after my favorite album ...And Justice For All in 1988 that was it.

I'm admittedly stuck in the past. I don't trash them now. I don't hate on them, but yes I admit I only like the older stuff I grew up on.

I loved them both back in the day but their glory days are long gone.

And it's not like they got too old, i mean listen to Judas Priest still making kickass music 50 years later

I like Megadeth but they're not even in the same category as Metallica.

This is like saying The Beatles or Stones aren't in the same class as The Clash. They're far bigger.

Megadeth - better solos, some better songs, less good singing, lots of crap thrown in
