I'm trying to figure out what would be helpful and also a protest against Fandom that isn't a TOS violation. I need to do some digging, but any EU members quitting may be able to fill out one of those "right to be forgotten" forms which would legally require Fandom to strip any content associated with your account from their system in its entirety. Not sure if it applies here, but it would be a nice way for users quitting to stick it to Fandom.

At this point I think that's the only way of browsing the site anyway, so most are probably already using uBlock Origin.

"Strictly necessary" cookies are always on by default. Those are the ones for login. What you're disabling are all the money-making cookies, like the ones that track which pages you're going to or are used to serve personalized ads.

This is probably a dumb question but.

When the boxes are "grey" does that mean those are turned OFF?

I just found it odd they were all selected grey by default. Usually, they would have them all on by default and hope you don't bother with it.

Grey (white circle on the left side) is OFF.

When the EU first rolled out these requirements a lot of sites did a pop-up and once you selected it remembers those preferences but a lot of people just clicked "accept all" and never learned how to turn them off manually.
